California Gold Rush
The California gold rush was where miners discovered and found gold. The miners discovered gold nuggets in the Sacramento Valley in 1848 that sparked the gold rush, it says that this event was one of the most significant in shaping America. As word spread thousands of people came to get the gold. Miners during the California gold rush had found about 750,000 pounds of gold. A lot of miners would mortgaged they're property, spend they'er life savings, and leave there families to fulfill their dreams of unimaginable riches. The miners were called 49"ers because gold was found in 1848 and word spread fast and next year a bunch of hopeful miners traveled to California in 1849.

The red lines are the roots to get to the gold. The green is the mother load of the gold. At Sutter's Ville that where the discovery of gold happened January 24th 1848.
Hydrolic Miner
Shortly after the Hydrolic Miner was created, miners began to use fast spraying water hoses to spray against the mountain side and along the rock. This water would wear down the rock and expose the gold.
Gold Sleuth
This is a gold sleuth and you use it to find gold you find some dirt that you think this is gold in and you add a little water in the pale and to rinse back and forth some people used this method during the gold rush.
