VIRTUE = STRENGTH

Our virtue this week is TRUST - The strength to confidently believe in someone regardless of the situation. It is truly a blessing to find a person who is genuinely TRUSTWORTHY. TRUST is one of the building blocks every good family and team is built on.

PRAYER

Lord Jesus, I TRUST in You. You are worthy of my TRUST because You gave Your life for me when You did not have to. Thank You for Your love and Your sacrifice. Give us the strength to TRUST one another in our school so we can do great things together and brings others closer to You in the process.

Don't forget to sign up for the Queen of Angels Virtual Trivia Night. You can still join in on all the fun--and send your payment in on Monday!! See the flyer below (a hard copy was sent home in the Family folder last week) with all of the details.


Event takes place tomorrow, Saturday, February 27, 2021 and the starts at 7:00 pm. You can call Gretchen and she will send you the link to play! Make some snacks and Enjoy!!

REGISTRATION INFORMATION COMING HOME TODAY!

It is that time of year again!! Your family folders should be coming home with your children today and will include information about next year's school enrollment! It is packed full of very important details about next year's tuition, financial aid, registration fees, and all the deadlines. This information has also been recently added to our website at school.queenofangelsfw.org, for your reference.


Please read everything and fill out what applies to you and your child(ren).


Then, in the next couple of day, you should receive an email with a link to begin the registration process.


As always, if you have any further questions, please call our office at 260-483-8214 and we will help you through the registration process.


If you have a family member or friend who is interested in enrolling a new student, please refer them to our website. We are looking at beginning new student enrollment around March 8.

MIDTERMS COMING HOME TODAY

Please ask your child to show you his or her midterms. If you have any questions about grades, please check your child's PowerSchool and any work they are doing through Google Classroom to make sure they are turning in work. Other questions can be answered by communicating with your child's teacher(s).


It is very important that students continue to strive to do their very best as we wrap up the final quarters of this school year. It has been tough having to work virtually, and hopefully the weather is turning for the better and everyone can stay safe and healthy to finish out the school year strong.

PARTY INVITATIONS

This is a friendly reminder that if your child decides to bring party invitations into school to pass out to their classmates, then they should bring an invitation for all students in their class. If not, then those invitations should be given outside of school hours.

EARLY DISMISSALS NEXT WEEK

There will be TWO early dismissals next week at school! We will have our normal early dismissal on Thursday, March 4th. Students will be dismissed at 2pm just like every Thursday. Then on Friday, March 5th we are hosting our Parish Fish Fry (Drive-Thru Only) from 4:00-6:00 p.m.; so, we will also dismiss at 2pm that day, and After Care will be held downstairs in the Social Hall.


If you come to pickup your student on that Friday, during Fish Fry hours, please park over on the West side of the church and not in the school parking lot so that traffic can flow through for dinner pick-ups. Then, join the line to get fish to bring home for your family!


Please mark your calendars for both of these days.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

We are in need of volunteers to help with Lunch Duty in the Cafeteria. Due to COVID protocols we only have one class at a time eating in the Cafeteria. The other grades are eating in their classrooms. The time we would need this assistance is from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm. Please let us know if you are interested in assisting us. You must be Safe Environment approved in order to volunteer. Please contact the School Office with any interest.

AFTER CARE ON APRIL 1ST

We are in need of a Safe Environment approved volunteer to assist with After Care on April 1st. The time would be from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Please contact the office if you can help us out.

TENTATIVE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL

Due to COVID and Snow make up days, our tentative last day of school is now Monday, June 7, 2021. Of course if the State offers waiver days due to the weather, we will surely apply. More information will come as we get closer.
