Who was Shakespeare?

His first name was William even though he is better known by Shakespeare. He was born on April 26, 1564 in Stratford-Upon-Avon. At age 18, he married Anne Hathaway and had three kids. He was an English poet, playwright, and actor. His career began in London landing a successful job in acting. Also, he was a writer and part owner of a playing company called the Lord Chamberlain's Men. He retired to Stratford at age 49, dieing just three years later.

Why is Romeo and Juliet still famous today?

My idea of why this story is still famous today is because of the power of the story. This story is powerful because it is a love story that also has a tragedy at the end. Most love story's are happy and carefree as they should be. Shakespeare's story however is different. The mix of love and tragedy is the reason why I think this story is so famous.
