Movie captioning means that when you watch a movie you can have the words on the screen of what their saying. It is helpful for the deaf because they can’t hear they can sign so the captioning helps them understand the movie. You can find this at the movie theater or at your own home.

Hearing Aids and Cochlear Implants

A cochlear implant is an electronic medical device that replaces the function of the damaged inner ear. A hearing aids are a small device that fits in or on the ear, worn by a partially deaf person to hear sound. It is helpful because they can kinda hear things instead of signing they can talk.

Video Remote Interpreting

Video Remote Interpreting is a service that uses devices such as web cameras or videophones to provide sign language or spoken language interpreting services. It helps the deaf because they can be like normal people and watch TV. Also they can watch shows that they like.

Phone Notifications With Flash

A phone notification is when you get a message if someone texted you or something is happening on social media but with a flash. The deaf people would use this because if they had it on sound they can't hear it, but with flash they check what has happened, without a sound.

Internet Access and Broadband

Internet access and broadband refers to high-speed Internet access that is always on and faster than the traditional dial-up access. Deaf people use this for their phone and how they communicate through technology and how they can talk with their phones. You would find this device in your home or you can be buying it at a store.
