Hwood Pride!!! #Allin4Hwood
Principal Message - May 2, 2016
It is hard to believe that May is here!!! It feels like just yesterday students and faculty were lining up on the blacktop ready to enter the building for the first day of school. The academic and social growth of our students this year is unbelievable. I am so impressed by the quality of their work and the kindness that they show to each other.
I would like to thank the parents that took the time and nominated faculty members for Educational Professional of the Year. It will certainly be a difficult decision for the committee. The winner will be announced at a school assembly in May!
As our school journey comes to a close, please continue to discuss with your child the importance of making good choices. A lot of fun activities are planned and student cooperation is important for successful activities/events. As always if you have a problem or concern, do not hesitate to contact your child's classroom teacher. Also remember my door is always open.
Thank you for your support and I look forward to a strong finish!
