Pacous

Name Of Region
This civialization is called Pacous. It is called Pacous because it means peaceful. It is called this because the people have no enemies, and try to stay as happy and peacful as they can.
Relative Location
Pacous was near the pacific ocean, where current day Australia is. Pacous was surrounded by water which is why they were so peacful, because enemies could not attack them other than by boat. Enemies rarly ever attacked on boat becaus it was very difficult to travel across the Pacific Ocean, and the Pacous people did not have any vauable items that others would want to take.
Time Period Of Study
The Pacous civialization started at around 250 BCE. Pacous was found by 2 explorors. One was called Persivious who introduced the people to God, and the other was a man named Bellicose, a man that pursued monotheistic beliefs. Persivious and Bellicose were Egyptian explorors that founded Pacous, and were 2 of the 3 kings.
Famous Landmarkes
A famous landmark in Pacous was called the Sacrotrope, meaning a very sacred place. Sacrotrope was a temple dedicated to God. Priests and kings held ceremonies there for God, and most people attended. Persivious and Bellicose introducud the people to monotheistic beliefs, and to God. They built this temple for the people to worship God and practice their faith every Saturday and Sunday. Another famous landmark was the statue of Persivious. The people built Persivious his own statue because he had introduced and taught them about God.
Jobs/ Responsibilities
Many of the Pacous men were very skilled. Their were many wild animals near their homes like tigers, and lions. The men needed to know how to defend their families, and kill the animals if they got too close.The men could also be boat builders. Men also needed to learn how to make fire for their families. The boys had to help their fathers with fishing, and also had school 3 days a week. At school boys and girls were able to learn to read and write sophligraphy. Sophligraphy focused on sounds and wisdom. Women had to help make fishing nets for the men, and prepared the food and kept their homes clean. They had to serve their husbands and obey them. Girls mostly spent time helping their mothers cook and clean.
Terrain/ Environment
In Pacous, the weather there was very temperate. A cold day in Pacous was about 75 degrees. A hot day could get up 120 degrees, but the Pacous people were used to that weather. They were located near the Pacific Ocean, so they mainly lived on beaches, and had good food sources from the water, like fish and other edible sea animals. Men could be boat builders, and make boats so that they could fish easier
Government
Men were chosen by the senate to fight in wars. The senate was chosen by the 3 kings. The 3 kings chose 21 men that they thought were powerful enough to be part of the senate. Each year, the senate chose 50 men that they thought were powerful warriors to fight in wars. They trained for the wars 5 days a week. The men that didn't get chosen, continued on with their daily lives. When one of the 3 kings died, the senate chose a new one. This government was called a monarchy, and democracy.
Famous People/ Leaders Of The Time Period
One of the most famos people in Pacous was 1 of the 3 kings, his name was king Alexander the 4th. He was so famous because he was the first person who could make fire with his own hands. He used the moss that he found off the trees to ignite, and used two sticks. He rubbed one stick against the other and then the sticks smoked, he then covered it with moss and there was fire. The fire helped the Pacous people cook fish on, and provided heat and light. Men took classes on how to make fire for their families, Alexander was their teacher. Another famous person was a man named Percivious who introduced the Pacous people to God. He shared scripture with the people that had been passed down to him when he was young. He brought monotheism to them at around 200 BCE. Another famous leader was king Bellicose the 2nd king. He was very intimidating and people were often scared of him, but he stood up for his monothiestic beliefs and encouraged many people to believe in God too. Almost all of the poeple in Pacous believed in God after he had encouraged them.
Religion
Pacous is monotheistic, they believe in one God. Once a week, monotheistic people went to the famous temple dedicated to God. The temple was called Sacrotrope, meaning a very sacred place. The priests and 3 kings attendend all ceremonies, and also led them in prayer. Pacous was a very peacful place and people wanted to keep it that way, so every Saturday and Sunday no one had work or chores to do. They had to dedicate those days to God by spending time with their family and also relaxing with nature. This was a reminder to them to respect and give thanks to all of God's creation.
Traditional Clothing
Women were considered great gifts from God and men needed to be very respectful and generous to them, men often bought beautiful clothes for the women. The clothes were made from silk, and had jewels on them. One of the most beutiful piece of clothing that the women wore was called the callivest (beautiful cothing). It was made from the finest silk, and was colorful and woven with golden thread. If women wore this, it meant that they were married. Boys and girls often wore clothes made out of cotton. These clothes were durable enough for the kid to play in for many hours each day. To protect them from the hot weather the people wore woven straw hats. When they went to worship God, women and girls wore dresses made of silk, and men wore cotton shirts and shorts. They tried to look their best for God.
What Is My Civialization Famous For?
Pacous is mostly famous for being peaceful and respectful to all. They are surrounded by large bodies of water, so they didn't interact with other civializations. This kept them very isolated, but very peaceful because they had no enemies.
