Dining for Dollars at Buffalo Wild Wings
Now through December 18 eat at Buffalo Wild Wings (28241 Diehl Rd., Warrenville) and support the Madison PTA. That's right! Just show your server this flyer, enjoy a great meal out, and earn money for Madison. It's just that simple.
Students advance in Reflections contest
Each year, Madison students are invited to participate in the National PTA Reflections contest, which encourages students to explore and be involved in the arts. Students reflected on a common theme and created original works of art in the categories of dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography, and visual arts.
This year’s theme was “What’s My Story?”
Ten students participated, submitting 14 entries. Each entry moved on from the school level to the District level.
Congratulations to:
Lucy Bickel, William Feinsot, Dane Hull, Jaqueline Phanthavong, Ella Gosain, Evie Hull, Yaahn Mody, Luke Mothershed, Kyla Phanthavong, and Samantha Valente.
Four students, submitting six entries, have moved on to the DuPage West Region, which is comprised of Glen Ellyn, Wheaton/Warrenville, Carol Stream, and Naperville PTAs.
Those works selected for advancement to the next level were:
Lucy Bickel - Literature "My Story"
Evie Hull - Literature - "My Story" and Visual Arts "Beautiful Butterfly"
Luke Mothershed – Music - "My Story of Feelings"
Samantha Valente - Literature "All About Me" and Dance "Brave"
Congratulations and thank you for your support of the Reflections program.

Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans thanks you
Thank you all so much for the generous donations of paper towels, dish soap, toilet paper, facial tissues, and laundry soap to the Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans. They were extremely grateful for the donations as Veterans come in daily for supplies such as what we donated as well as clothing, personal hygiene products, linens, offices supplies, and other cleaning and household items.
John Dixon organizes the supplies along with a volunteer staff to help those Veterans in need. They are always welcoming other donations and volunteers. Please consider this organization again as our Veterans have done so much for our country and safety.
Gratefully,
The Madison Veteran’s Day Committee
