The minium wage for a mechanical engineer is $52,550. The average wage is $80,580. The highest wage is $123,340.
Requirements to practice
To practice mechanical engineering you need a Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering. You also need a Professional engineering license. The former means that you need to be good in math and science, and the latter means you need to be certified.
Association
