Of the many important things to know about mechanical engineering, three of the most important are their salary for a year, requirements to practice, and their association.
The minium wage for a mechanical engineer is $52,550. The average wage is $80,580. The highest wage is $123,340.
Requirements to practice
To practice mechanical engineering you need a Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering. You also need a Professional engineering license. The former means that you need to be good in math and science, and the latter means you need to be certified.
"ASME is a not-for-profit membership organization that enables collaboration, knowledge sharing, career enrichment, and skills development across all engineering disciplines, toward a goal of helping the global engineering community develop solutions to benefit lives and livelihoods." A.S.M.E. or American Society of Mechanical Engineering was founded in 1880. Today it has over 140,000 members.
