Sale Continues; Free Magazines Added
April 23-24: Between 1-4 pm, visit the cart next to the book sale to stock up on free, withdrawn magazines for your classroom's collage box. April is the only time when magazines are withdrawn from the LMC.

This is a novelization of the Jackie Robinson bio-pic in theaters now. We have three copies of this easy-to-read title. Look for Jackie Robinson: Champion for Equality and After Jackie: Pride, Prejudice, and Baseball's Forgotten Heroes on the new books display later this week.

Master storyteller Philip Pullman presents this new translation of familiar tales. At the end of each tale he offers a brief personal commentary, opening a window on the sources of the tales, the various forms they've taken over the centuries and their everlasting appeal.
