While most of the world's galapagos penguins live among the western islands of Fernandina and Isabela, they can also be seen on Santiago, Bartolome, northern Santa Cruz, and Floreana. Their diet consist of only marine animals. Krill and small crustaceans make up the most of Galapagos penguins diet along with larger animals including squid and various species of fish.There are less than 1,600 Galapagos pairs in the world and they are endangered because of fish shoaling which is where places are too shallow and also oil spills.
