Dear Lincoln, Logan & McPherson County 4-H Families,

Hello! My name is Caitlyn Jacobson. I am the new 4-H youth development Extension Educator as of June 1st. I am from North Platte, and my family comes from a strong agricultural background. I was a 4-H member throughout all my years of eligibility. I have been married to my husband, Patrick for 4 years. Before coming to UNL extension, I was a teacher for 7 years. I hope to bring many educational experiences to our area and I look forward to serving our counties and growing our 4-H program. I am eager to meet all of you, please say hi if you see me out and about. The deadline for enrollment and affidavits is June 15th.

Animal Affidavits can be picked up at the Extension Office or found at: https://extension.unl.edu/statewide/lincolnmcpherson/animal-affidavits/.

• All Animal Affidavits are due to the Extension Office by 5 p.m. June 15th 2022.

Online Nominations and payment for all beef, sheep, goat and swine are due before 11:59 p.m. CST on June 15th through the Show Stock Manager Website.

• The market animal DNA envelope must be submitted to the Extension Office by 5 p.m. on June 15th.

YQCA (Quality Assurance for Animals) must be completed by June 15th and Certificate of completion submitted to the Extension Office by 5 p.m. June 15th. See flyer below for more information. Only one more in-person training left on June 13th from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

• To receive credit for YQCA (Quality Assurance), youth must submit their YQCA Certificate to the Extension Office by Wednesday, June 15, 2022 by 5 p.m.
