A Note From Ms. D
I hope you've had a good week! In class we have been moving right along with our units of study. We just completed out sixth full week of school with the students, and for the most part, they are settling into first grade expectations and procedures.
A very important area of focus in our class has been on following the ASD values to make sure we treat our peers and all adults and staff in the school with respect. As the students get more comfortable in their new classroom and specialist classes, some are beginning to overlook the importance of this value. Please help us reinforce respectful choices and behavior by discussing this with your children over the weekend if you have time.
Please see the announcements below for information regarding upcoming events like the PTA book fair, Parent-Teacher Conferences, and the Halloween Festival.
The blog has been updated with pictures from the week.
