Revitalized Languages
Hebrew
How did Hebrew become revitalized?
Hebrew was once thought to be an extinct language that was only used in Jewish religious ceremonies, but was made an official language when Israel became an independent country. It was chosen because a large amount of the Israel population was migrants from countries that spoke many languages, so Hebrew was chosen as a symbol of unification of culture.
