We encourage you to activate your reader's account today by clicking on https://www.read-a-thon.com/readers/r/ZjsDtj/1 and following the simple instructions.
We've chosen Read-A-Thon because it will not take much of your time, gives your child a reason to read and helps in the development of stronger reading skills.

Art Club
AFTER SCHOOL ART CLUB
The Country Club After School Art Club is open to any student in the first to fifth grades interested in the arts, and seeking to explore painting on canvas with direct instruction. Please be advised, this is not a drop in arrangement.
Each month, I will help the students create their own painting using acrylic paints on an 11” x 14” canvas. The projects will take three Wednesdays to complete, thus a commitment needs to be made for each Wednesday in the month your child participates.
To sign up:
Use the SignUp Genius link, limited to 12 slots. There are 6 slots for a waitlist.
Submit your completed Permission Form by the month’s due date.
We will prioritize students that have not yet participated in the Art Club each month.
Children should go to Wacky Wednesday Snack Bar before coming to the art club.
If for any reason you need to cancel a sign up, please do so through SignUp Genius, or email me directly <tking@srvusd.net>

Our next CEF meeting is Wed 2/15 @ 7pm in the Science Room. We would love to see you there! New faces drop in/out all the time - it’s a great way to learn more about the school!

Cougar Ed Fund Havana Nights Teacher Time
The Country Club annual auction is right around the corner and we wanted to showcase some of the awesome items the kids would be interested in. In addition to the great items you see on the flier, the teachers from most grades will be hosting a teacher time opportunity for the children. Bidding for teacher time will start online on March 13th, with final bids ending at the live auction. We will have fliers outside the classroom doors detailing the teacher time activities for each grade.
Please see the attached flier for more information.
