LPS TIGER TALK
LPS Weekly Newsletter ~ 9/9/2022
Message From The Principal
LECC, LPS, and LES updated Chromebooks this year as part of our district's technology plan. We are super excited to be 1:1 in all of our classrooms. The Chromebook is a wonderful learning tool to support our work with students while allowing students to build a solid foundation for good Digital Citizenship.
It really is amazing to see how quickly our students learn the necessary routines and procedures to allow for small group instruction and personalized learning to take place. Take a peek at our Tigers in action in this week's Technology Expected Behaviors video that Mrs. Stubenrauch created. You will see that our students and teachers have quickly created positive classroom learning communities to support exploration and growth!
We hope you have a wonderful weekend! We will see our Tigers back on Monday.
Sincerely,
Kevin Fancher

Change of Clothing
Sometimes kids spill milk, have an accident, a bloody nose or get wet on the playground. To help ease the anxiety of having to change clothes at school and since the clinic doesn’t always have an extra supply, we are asking that families send in a complete change of clothing inside a Ziploc bag. The bag can be kept in your child’s classroom cubby for such incidents.
Please be sure to label the bag with your child’s name.
Please include:
- Pants
- Shirt
- Underwear
- Socks
