Grade Level Updates
Kindergarten
We are so excited in kindergarten to begin working on our next units! In ELA we will be talking about our country, space, and movement. We are continuing to learn our sight words, so we are ready for first grade! In math, we will begin learning about measurements, 3-dimensional shapes, and the base ten system. In science we are going to take a deeper look into force and motion. We are also looking forward to our end of the year celebrations, to include kindergarten continuation, class parties, and field day! We are excited to celebrate these sweet kids and all the incredible growth they have made this year despite all the challenges. What a year it's been!
1st grade
2nd grade
3rd grade
3rd graders are discovering the relationship between humans and their environment. They are investigating “Where in the world are we?” Students will be exploring geographic characteristics of landforms, continents, and regions. They will analyze how geography influences how we live. We are so excited to see how students will apply their learning to real world situations as they engage in the performance task.
Students who are in person will be taking the Colorado State Assessment on April 13 (Tuesday), April 14 (Wednesday) and April 15 (Thursday). Please have students arrive at school no later than 7:40am. The test will start promptly at 8:00am. Students will need to have their computers fully charged and ready to go.
