Jasmine Flowers

A popular folk song

There is a popular folk song I would like to share with you. The title of this song is 茉莉花(Mò Lì Huā). This song was first written in Qing Dynasty. There are a few regional variations, and the most well known one was from provinces in Southeast of China. Some resources say it is played during 2008 Summer Olympics and 2010 Shanghai Expo Opening Ceremony. Over these years in history, Mo Li Hua gain its popularity in China and other Chinese communities aboard.

The singer of this video is named 蔡琴 (cài qín). I like her singing very much and hope you do the same.
