He mihi nui ki ngā pou o te Wharekura kua hoe te Waka o Waimōkihi ki Wainui i tēnei wiki. Te mutunga kē mai o te pai, te rea haere o tō tātou nei Wharekura.

Te Whare Tū Tauā ki Te Whānau Tahi
Kei aku niho tipua, kei aku mata tipua, tātou e pīkoko nei ki ngā hua nui o tō tātou whare, o Te Whare Tū Taua o Aotearoa, tēnei ia te reo rāhiri e rere nei ki a koutou katoa.
Ko whakatūwherahia te tāwaha o Tū, o Kahukura, o te riri anō hoki, kia whai wāhi mai rā tō tātou whānau o te kura, me te hapori whānui tonu ki kā hua nunui o tō tātou whare. Hai whakamahuki kau ake, hei ia rā Tāite 3.15pm-5pm tū ai ngā whakangūngū mau rākau ki tō tātou whare o Te Atawhai o Te Aotūroa ki TKKM o Te Whānau Tahi.
Nō reira e te whānau, nau piki mai, nau kake mai, tōtōia mai rā ō koutou haumi katoa kia ikapahi mai rā ki ngā pūkaikura niwhaniwha a Tūmatauenga! Tomokia te whare!
Pou Tuakana of Te Whare Tū Tauā ki Te Whānau Tahi would like to invite all tamariki who attend our kura, and their whānau to attend mau rākau sessions weekly here at kura. These sessions are suitable for all levels and all ages. Tamariki under the age of 12yrs MUST be accompanied by an adult. Pakeke mā, come learn alongside your tamariki! Great for reo development, hauora and pikinga waiora!

Parking at Pioneer
The council will be making improvements to the carpark at Pioneer from Monday 30 January. Work will take around six weeks and should be wrapped up by the end of March. If you park at Pioneer for picking up or dropping off your tamariki, you may need to be prepared to park elsewhere while this work is happening.
Te Ahu o Te Reo Māori
He kaupapa e whakahaerehia ana e Te Ataarangi me Te Rūnanga Nui o Ngā Kura Kaupapa Māori o Aotearoa.
E tuwhera ana ki ngā whānau, ngā kaimahi me ngā kōhanga hoki o ngā kura Aho Matua o te motu.
This course is aimed at kaimahi and whānau of Kura Kaupapa Māori and Kōhanga Reo affiliated to Te Rūnanga Nui o Ngā Kura Kaupapa Māori o Aotearoa. It is a joint initiative between Te Ataarangi Trust and Te Rūnanga Nui o Ngā Kura Kaupapa Māori o Aotearoa. The Ministry of Education provides the funding for this course as part of a nationwide initiative. This course is 20-weeks.

Intake 2 - 17 Jul 2023 - 1 Dec 2023
This course consists of: Weekly 2-hour classes with a Kaiako. (Either online or in person) Two 10-hour wānanga Two 6-hour hui.

Stationery 2023 - Te Hoko Taputapu 2023
We have purchased stationery sets for all ākonga for 2023. This change in purchasing ensures all ākonga receive the correct stationery in a timely manner.
Costs will be communicated to whānau via email next week before they are added to whānau accounts and covers all stationery for the whole year.
