A Note from Dr. Reynolds

WBE Families,

Welcome Back! It has been a quick first month of school. Your students have been very busy learning. Thank you for your flexibility as we continue to navigate through the ever changing time of Covid. As a reminder all schools will be closed September 7-10th. Students will return on Monday, September 13th. Our custodial staff will be here deep cleaning the building this week. We will not have staff here to answer the phone but if you should have an immediate need please feel free to send myself or Dr. Anglin an email. Teachers will not be required to work next week and there will not be any assignments in Google classroom or other assignments during this time. At this time we have conferences on the schedule for Sept. 20th and we will have these but do not know if they will be in person or zoom. We will know more after we return on Sept. 13th.

Have a great week, stay well and we will see everyone soon.

House Reveal

Friday, August 6th, we had our house reveal for new students. Then, on Friday, August 13th, all of our kindergarteners had the opportunity to find out which House they would be in. They had a blast. We spent this time going over what each house means and the expectations for our Mustangs. Part of these expectations included the Burrus Big 10 and 7 Habits of Happy Kids.
