Congratulations to our AIM classroom winners!
This year, our school has been working on improving student attendance through our “Timely Tiger” program so it was a perfect time for Suzanne Skinner, our district Home & School Visitor, to come in and work with 3rd grade students to improve overall attendance. Mrs. Skinner introduced the students to the Attendance Incentive Model (also known as AIM) which focuses on teaching students about the importance of coming to school every day to help them be the best learners they can be. Mrs. Skinner and our classroom teachers kept track of attendance and the class that had the most days of student attendance for the third marking period won an evening pizza party here at Keystone. The winning class of the 3rd marking period party was Ms. Waldron’s class! Eighteen students and their families had a great time eating pizza, playing Bingo, and just getting to spent time together after school. The evening was a success and we can’t wait to see which class will be the winners of the 4th marking period pizza party. Great job to Ms. Waldron’s class & Mrs. Skinner!!
