Hot Lunch Update
Hello Prairie View Families,
I want to thank you for your patience while we figured out a plan as to how to handle the hot lunch this year. The PTO has decided to issue credits to all families who will be returning to Prairie View next year. The credit will be available to be used when you order hot lunch for the next school year. If you have no returning students, you can choose a refund or to donate. Since the PTO uses Chase bank, we can refund you by Zelle or by mailing you a check. Please email our school secretary, Jenny Jesionowski at jjesionowski@ksd140.org, and let us know how you would like to be refunded. If you prefer Zelle, you will need to email us your Zelle information. If you prefer a check, please email us whom to make the check out to and an address to mail it to. This is a pretty big undertaking, so if you could let us know how you would like your refund by May 18th, that would be very helpful. After that time, we will work diligently to get out your refund as soon as possible.
We are trying to navigate this unfortunate situation the best we can, but we know that what is best for most may not best for everyone. I also want to take this moment to thank the people who have already reached out saying they wanted to donate their hot lunch credits back to the PTO. I am overwhelmed by your generosity, and I want to reassure you that your donations will continue to support the students and staff of Prairie View.
