New year....New beginnings
The new year is like a new novel with 365 blank pages ready to be written. January is a time to renew intentions, change things and start a new. Here's wishing you a wonderful new year full of good health and happiness.
I hope you enjoyed the vacation. I am looking forward to getting back into our regular routine. The new year starts us off with our first PTO meeting of the new year on THURSDAY, January 9th at 6 p.m. in the Little Red School House PK3 classroom.
- All are welcome.
- Meetings usually last about an hour to an hour and a half.
- It's a great way to stay connected, meet other parents, and learn about what's going on in our great school.
- Planning for the annual Pasta Supper on January 30th will take place. (Basket/ donations are due by January 23rd.
- This is an event that builds community and is so much fun.
National Catholic Schools Week begins January 26th. This is a week of celebrating Catholic Education with many activities and themes being planned. SAS will hold an OPEN HOUSE on the 28th during school hours from 9:30-11:30 a.m. and from 6-7:30 p.m. Prospective parents will have an opportunity to see our school in action or visit after work.
- Can you help? Word of mouth is the best advertisement. Share your love of SAS and let them know that Saint Anna is the place to be. Tell your friends and acquaintances about our wonderful school. We value our students in a warm, friendly, and safe atmosphere. We value compassion for our neighbors by doing outreach for those in need, and we are centered on our Faith and values in a family friendly atmosphere.
Map Testing will also begin the week after we return (1/13). Make sure children are rested and do their best to show what they know. February will be right at our heels.
New Year, New beginnings...
We will welcome a new Title I teacher, an additional nurse, Mrs. Dolly LaRouche, R.N. and a Special Education Teacher, Beth Scola. Please welcome them as we continue to offer supports for our students throughout the school year.
I look forward to returning and seeing everyone on Monday.
Enjoy the weekend.
God Bless,
Mrs. Veilleux
