Week of October 19-23
Going on in B104:
This week we will be finishing up learning about plate names and begin geological changes due to plate tectonics. The great thing is that they've already learned this in social studies! The other great thing is that there are lots of hands on labs planned, so make sure our students do not miss class.
* Tuesday Quia Quiz over plate names (Quia Quizzes are usually open note. If they have their notes,completed classroom activities/DIY's they should do awesome)
* Thursday Quia Quiz over geological changes due to movement of plate tectonics (Quia Quizzes are usually open note. If they have their notes, competed classroom activities/DIY's they should do awesome)
*Your child should have a plan for their Earth project next Friday
*We will work on our projects in class Monday through Thursday Oct 25-29
*Earth projects are due Oct. 30. Each group will produce both a earth model as well as a presentation of their choice. Rubric will go home next Friday as they begin their plans to best show what they know. The project is due is two weeks away from today.

Fri, Oct 30- Let’s show good character, book character by being drug free- Dress like a character from a book, cartoon character, Disney character, or action heroes. (no ghosts, goblins, monsters, weapon accessories, masks
