Character Counts!
We have officially completed our first full month of school! This past month has been challenging for everyone, and we appreciate all of the work you are doing at home to support your students. We are so excited to have welcomed students back to school with the new hybrid schedule.
The star of our October Social Emotional Learning newsletter is Character Counts! The Character Counts framework is built on the 6 Pillars of Character, which focuses on fostering positive school climate, civility, ethical community membership, and character development. The 6 Pillars of Character include Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, and Citizenship. Below we will outline these 6 principles in more detail and provide examples for how we look for these stellar characteristics in our students!

Respect
