Scholastic Art and Writing Regional Awards
The 2023 Scholastic Art & Writing Regional Awards were recently announced and the Masconomet High School received the second largest number of awards of all public high school art programs in the state. Our students received a total of 52 awards (12 Gold Keys, 21 Silver Keys, and 19 Honorable Mentions). Congratulations to all of the talented and hard-working award winners, participants, and their art teachers as well!
This year there were 7,363 entries from students grades 7 through 12 from across Massachusetts. There will be an in-person exhibit and awards ceremony for Gold and Silver Key recipients on March 18th on the Tufts University campus. More information to come. Additionally, all Massachusetts Gold Key awards advance to the National Competition and results will be announced towards the end of March.

Positive Community Norms Campaign
This poster series is part of Tri-Town Council’s youth substance use prevention Coalition’s POSITIVE COMMUNITY NORMS campaign – an effort to promote the data-backed, positive, healthy norms of behavior of Tri-Town youth within the community.
These posters were designed by Masco junior Sarah Fine!

School and District Profile
Please use the links below to view our 2022 District and School Data. What is this data? Directly from the DESE website, "The Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education collects a variety of data from schools and districts in the state. Much of the information collected is published in the School and District Profiles. A "profile" is a snapshot of the data for a specific school/district."

Masconomet has been selected to take part in the 2023 Youth Risk Behavior Survey (MYRBS) and Youth Health Survey (MYHS). This survey is jointly sponsored by the Massachusetts Departments of Elementary and Secondary Education and Public Health. During M-block on Friday, March 3rd selected students will report to the small cafeteria and participate in the administration of the survey. Emails and permissions slips will be sent home as we get closer to the administration date.
