Start the Right Way or Get Back on Track
1. Make a list of 31 (or go bigger for 62) contacts. Think of people you know from work, church, your neighborhood, organizations and your family contacts...List as many in different "circles" of people that come to mind.
2. The people you listed are people who quickly came to mind, as they are your friends, coworkers, and family. These are people who would LOVE to help you get your business going, but this is where you have to take that list you made and make it work for something. Simply tell some of the ladies on that list about your new business. Ask if they would be willing to be one of your first parties. Let them know how much you appreciate their support. Just because you've been at this a few months, if you missed this step along the way and didn't really tackle your list of 31, as Nike said, "Just do it." I promise you'll get a few parties out of it to start the new year.
3. Get your launch party (party you hostess and act as consultant) PLUS at least two-three more parties (from your list contacts) on the calendar asap- this step is best done before signing or immediately after. The more you can party your first month, the easier your first Start Swell will be to attain and the more bookings you'll have from each of those parties to go forward.
4. That brings me to the point of, as a new consultant, put LASER SHARP FOCUS on booking parties. Sales and recruits will come the more people you are face to face with in your business over time. Face to face comes from parties. In this business, the party is where it all happens! Ask every guest at checkout about hostessing a party with you. By doing that simple task three bookings can become six and off you go! Your business will thrive as long as you focus on booking your home parties. Our company has a great formula: 2-10-1 Focus on two parties a month with ten guests at each party and adding a recruit a season. Growth will be a natural process when you are shooting for this goal :)
