FIELD DAY
Field day is coming soon! It will be Friday, May 24th. Here are the times for field day for each grade level:
K-1st- 9:30 – 11:00am
4-5th- 11:30 – 1:00pm
2-3rd- 1:45 – 3:15pm
This year each grade level will be participating in field day as a homeroom class. They will be moving as a class to each event. This makes it easier for parents to join their child at field day. We ask that no small children attend their siblings’ field day. If you plan on checking out your child, they are not allowed back on campus to attend their siblings’ field day. Here are things you need to help your child remember to do on the day of field day:
*Bring a towel and water bottle
* Put sunscreen on at home
* Bring a change of clothes if staying at school all day
Lunch times will also be different on field day. Students will be eating in their classroom, so there will be no visitors for lunch. They will be serving a box lunch in the cafeteria.
No school age children are allowed to visit during field day.
(Elementary, middle school or high school)
5th GRADE CELEBRATION
Fifth graders will have their end-of-year awards and celebration on Wednesday, May 29th in the cafeteria. A fun filled day of activities is on the agenda. Awards are from 9:30 am – 10:30 am.
5th graders need to wear their BLUE 5TH GRADE T-SHIRT ON WEDNESDAY, MAY 29th for the awards.
Please do not send markers with your student to write on their t-shirts.

LAST DAY OF SCHOOL
Students should only carry home report cards on the last day of school.
FROM THE CAFETERIA
All money left in lunch accounts at the end of the year will remain in the account until next school year. Accounts with negative balances will also be carried over to next year, so please see that your child’s account is current. If your child transfers to any Cy-Fair school the positive or negative balances will follow to the new school. If you are planning to leave the district, you can request a refund by calling the school cafeteria at 281-463-5920 or thru the online school cafe before the last day of classes.
Note: No money can be given to students. An adult will need to come to the cafeteria to receive any refund.
Also, please remember that if your child is on free or reduced lunch and goes to any Cy-Fair school, he or she will remain on the program for the first 30 days of school next year. You will need to re-apply over the summer or at the beginning of the next school year for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year.
