Lake Fenton Community Schools
District Updates - November 2021
A Message From the Superintendent
A Time for Thanks and a Time for Giving
Fortunately, we have a resilient community and there are signs that we are coming together, like our Lake Fenton Community always does. Seeing parents at games, Halloween & Homecoming parades and volunteering in classrooms and at events, is such a wonderful indication that things are moving in the right direction.
I want to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU! We may not always agree, but our parents have been understanding, supportive and given grace as we have worked through so many new experiences. I am thankful for the opportunity to serve this community and lead this amazing school district.
Thanksgiving is the perfect time to reflect on the positive things in our lives. I encourage each of you to take a few minutes to think about those things for which you are grateful and thankful. Hopefully, it will warm your heart and bring a smile to your face.
I wish you a wonderful holiday season.

NEW INFORMATION
COVID Relief Funding Requirements
With the most recent federal funding allocations for school districts (ESSER III), school districts are required to solicit stakeholder feedback on the best way to utilize the funding. Allowable uses for the funding have been identified as part of the grant requirements. We have taken those "allowable uses" and created a survey for our stakeholders to complete. We are asking you to select the top five areas where you believe the funding would be most beneficial.
