BWMS Parent Update
8/20/21
Here We Go Eagles, Here We Go!
It was a great staggered start to the 2021-22 School Year at BWMS.
I was impressed with our students and their willingness to help and support each other as everyone was learning new schedules, routines, locker combinations and the like. Each classroom had a goal to get to know each other as learners and establish common norms and expectations so our school year will go well. We look to build upon this positive environment next week as we choose daily to S.O.A.R daily in the areas of Scholarship, Ownership, Awareness and Respect.
Enjoy the weekend and Go Eagles!

School Updates
- BWMS Curriculum Night is Thursday August 26th with a 6:00 PM start time. Parents will travel through their student's schedule and get a chance to meet our staff. Additional details below.
- All students will be participating in STAR assessments during the week of 8/23/21 in Reading and Math.
- There is no school on Monday 9/6/21 due to Labor Day.

Other opening details:
- BWMS cannot provide supervision of students until 7:25 AM each morning so we ask that parents arrange drop off schedules accordingly. At that time, all students report to their 1st period class.
- If your child will be absent, please call the attendance line at 740-965-7786 by 8:30am on the day of the absence.
- Parent Drop Off and Pick Up should use Fairland Drive. This is for the safety of our students riding the buses coming in from the Cheshire Road entrance. We ask that you pull all the way down to the Orange Cone so we can drop off and pick up as many students as possible.
