About Me
For those of you who are new to Francis Howell Middle School let me take some time and introduce myself. My name is Rebecca Klinginsmith and I am the Essential Skills teacher at FHMS. This is my 11th year in Special Education and my 16th year working with individuals with disabilities. I have had many amazing experiences within my career including attending the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and working in Lincoln Public Schools, returning to my hometown of Joplin, MO to teach, attending the University of Missouri-Columbia and working at the Thompson Center for Autism, and now working for the Francis Howell School District.
On a more personal note I am married and have a 3 year old son, Miles. Last summer we spent most of our time together hunting for the 250 cake statues around the Saint Louis area. This year we have enjoyed a couple trips to Silver Dollar City and fun landmarks around the St. Louis area!
