Garner's First Musical Performance!
Last week both the Choir and Theatre Arts Departments embarked on a journey to produce Lion King Jr. the Musical here at Garner. A musical is rare in the middle school level, and we are so excited to offer this opportunity to our students. We had nearly 50 students audition for the production, and with the help of an audition panel we were able to cast 42 students. The excitement was high as we started the rehearsal process this week with singing. This will be the first major production in the new Cafetorium, and one of the largest productions attempted at Garner to date. Mark your calendars to experience this classic story on stage for November 15th at 6:30 pm and 16th 12:00 pm.
