Mustang News - October 28th, 2022
From The Principal
We had a joyous week at MSHS full of opportunities for students! We had fantastic participation in our Fall Family Conferences last week–thank you to the many folks who participated. I am also grateful to the many staff, students, and families who invested time and energy in our fall play as well as our choir concert this week. We are finishing up awesome fall athletic seasons–great job to our athletes, coaches, and families. I also want to wish our Cross Country Boys’ Team luck at State this weekend! Have a safe Halloween weekend! Anna Conrad Manitou Springs High School Interim Principal
From The Counseling Department...
School Counselors Alisha Strupp (L-Z) and Marta Schmuki (A-K) are in the classrooms for the next few weeks and are visiting all 9-11th grade advisories to discuss MSHS graduation requirements and play a fun trivia game! Please ask your student about our visit as they will also be getting a copy of their high school transcript as well as learn how to track their individual credit status. We will finish visiting all 11th grade advisories this week and will start meeting with 10th grade students next week. All lessons are expected to be completed by November 30th. We are excited to have this opportunity to meet with all students!!

Mr. Toby Partridge deepened learning of ethics by asking them to compare unethical practices and determine which practices are the most unethical and why.

The Trip of a Lifetime...
This is it...the last European tour headed by Mr Brown will happen this upcoming summer. Our destination is the beautiful island of Ireland. This tour combines the excitement of the big city (Dublin) with the traditions of Ireland's countryside as we visit Galway, Killarney, Blarney, and more.
From historical museums to sheep dog demonstrations, a horse farm visit to kissing the Blarney stone, this is a tour you don't want to miss.
Contact Mr. Brown (bbrown@mssd14.org) for more information.
