A Message From Our Principals
Dear families,
During May, we celebrate so many moments with students. We celebrate our kindergarten students as they have completed their first year of full-day schooling at Glacier Ridge. We also celebrate our fifth graders as they will be leaving us and transitioning to middle school.
We take time to reflect on the past year. We had so many wonderful experiences together. We have learned so much and have grown into a caring community. We appreciate everyone's efforts to make Glacier Ridge the best school ever!
As we wrap up this school year, we have many more events to engage in together. Please see all the details below. We look forward to field day! Mr. Jacobsen will be joining us to cook hot dogs. We hope the students have their orders in! We also look forward to seeing everyone at Open House on May 11th to celebrate the year with us.
With gratitude,
Dr. Gruper and Mrs. Reinhardt

Please Welcome Mrs. Kapocius!
Hello Glacier Ridge Families! My name is Amber Kapocius and I currently live in Crystal Lake with my husband Phil and two children; Hailey (8) and Ryan (5). Throughout my 12 years of teaching, I spent 6 years as a high school special education teacher, 5 years as a part time encore Kindergarten/1st grade teacher, and this past year as a substitute teacher at Glacier Ridge and Wehde Early Childhood. Many of you know me due to my kids attending Glacier Ridge and my involvement with school activities as the PTA Vice President. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and coaching/cheering on my kids during their various activities they are involved in. I look forward to ending the school year exploring the student's creativity and teaching them Art.

Thank you!
