MESSAGE FROM PRINCIPAL LAMBERT
Welcome to a this wonderful new school year! We are excited about our amazing new facility and even more excited about the excellent instructional year we have planned for your children.
We are looking forward to partnering with you in providing a successful educational year for all Mariano Castro students. Please be as involved as you can this year and stay on the lookout for the many ways, big or small, that you can be engaged in volunteering, decision-making, and giving us feedback.
I am looking forward to a great school year!
Principal Mariano Castro Elementary
From the District Office
A summer of construction is coming to an end, and we are excited to welcome students and families back to school on Monday, Aug. 20. So much work has been done on our campuses, and we are excited to have new facilities.
As with any construction project, there will be a few items that we'll be finishing up in the next few weeks. Thanks in advance for your patience as we finish up landscaping, painting touch-ups, cabinetry installation, and window coverings, to name a few.
We'll work hard to minimize any disruption to students and staff members. Thank you for your support!
Back to School Night
Castro's Back to School Night is Wednesday, August 29. Please join the teacher in the classroom to learn about the activities, routines, and expectations for this year. We will have two sessions: one at 6:00 p.m. and then a repeat at 6:45 p.m. It is important that all parents attend this evening. Your attendance also counts toward your Five Star Family status!
