Welcome to Spring!

I always love this time of year! Of course, it is one of the busiest times with spring festivities and all the deadlines that go along with it for our students (especially our seniors) and our teachers, but I certainly enjoy having a few extra hours of sunshine at the end of the day.


The month of March is Music in our Schools Month, Youth Art Month, and Theatre in our Schools Month! This means there is never a shortage of great things going on in our fine and performing arts programs! You can catch a musical, hear bands and choruses perform at all levels, attend an art show, and come to Fine Arts Day on March 26 at PCHS from 10-4! So many ways to enjoy the talent of our students and their hard working teachers!


I hope this edition of our publication, The State of the Arts, is one in which you will find great information about your favorite arts programs! See the columns below for your cluster of schools and also a column dedicated to the upcoming events you will want to take part in!
