We Need Field Day Volunteers!
Update from the PTO
In the past, the Runathon has been a fun way to collect money to go towards PTO and school initiatives. When looking at our fundraising data from the past year, a very obvious "lopsided" trend was noticed. In an effort to pour our energy into events that are successful and fun for all students, the Ebinport PTO has decided not to host the Runathon this year. It has been a year of transition as a school and as an organization, and we are excited to continue having these tough conversations about what our "new Ebinport" looks like in the fall.
Instead, the PTO has decided to partner with Coach Brownshield on Field Day. We will be purchasing water and t-shirts for all students. In addition, we will help coordinate volunteers and arrange for a Kona Ice "cool down" station. All students will receive a Kona Ice courtesy of PTO.
The PTO needs new parent representatives for the 2019-2020 school year. If you are interested in joining the PTO, please let the Main Office know.
Letter from Nurse Cranford: End-of-Year Medications
Thank you for allowing me to help meet your child’s health needs while at school this year. The end of the school year is rapidly approaching so I am making preparations for closing the Health Room.
For safety reasons a parent/guardian MUST pick up all medication by the end of the school year. Please stop by the Health Room to pick up your child’s medicine. If your child’s medication is not picked up by the date below it will be destroyed. Medications will not be stored at Ebinport Elementary over the summer.
Please pick up no later than: June 4, 2019 at 12:00pm
(Any medication left after this date will be destroyed)
If your child will require a prescription medication while at school next year, please have your physician complete the prescription permission form. Medication permission forms can be requested from the school or printed from the district website.
Please call me at 803-981-1564 with any questions regarding medication pick up.
Rhonda Cranford, RN, BSN
