From Mr. R's Desk
Bobcat Nation,
Thank you for choosing Rio Hondo ISD. I know everyone has choices as far as where to work and that is why I am very grateful that you are here working at Rio Hondo High School. We might not have the best resources but I want you to know that administration is here for you and trust that you will always be treated in a professional manner. I promise that we will do everything we can under our power to ensure that you are successful in the classroom because your success translates into student success...and that's our mission. In addition, do not forget that we need to be INTENTIONAL and ACCOUNTABLE in everything that we do.
Let's be INTENTIONAL in the classroom.
- What is the end?
- How are you engaging kids?
- Are you aligned?
- How are you monitoring student progress?
- What is the data telling you?
- What are you doing about it?
Let's be ACCOUNTABLE for our actions.
- Be here on time.
- Post your objective, daily.
- Complete and submit lesson plans, weekly.
- No passes the first or last 15 minutes.
- Communicate with parents.
- Bring it every day!
