February Is Here!

It is hard to believe but we are now in the month of February. We had a busy January of learning and activities and we are looking to do it again this month. We do want to remind students and parents to continue to help us with illness mitigation strategies. Practice good hygiene, symptom check before you come to school, and stay home when sick. Make sure you are 24 hours symptom free before returning. Together, we have done a great job this year. Thank you!

Parent/Teacher Conferences

We will have two nights of parent/teacher conferences on Thursday, February 17th and Thursday, February 24th. Conferences will run from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. both nights. Please call the office to make an appointment. If you are scheduling a conference for your elementary student (Pre-5th), call Mrs. Pickens at 970-345-2266 and if you are scheduling a conference for your secondary (6th-12th grade) student, call Mrs. Woods at 970-345-2268.

H.S. Ram Basketball

The Akron Ram HS basketball teams played against some very good competition last week with Fleming and Merino. The Ram teams split with Fleming on Thursday, with the boys picking up a win and the girls falling to the Wildcats. On Friday night both teams lost at Merino. The Rams will look to get back on track this week when they travel to Burlington on Thursday and host Wiggins on Saturday.
