Carman Paw Print
September 18, 2022
Dear Carman Families,
On Monday, September 19, we will be conducting our Intruder Drill at Carman Trails. This drill is a component of the Parkway School District approved 4E intruder safety response training. This allows adults the option of escorting students from the classroom and moving to a secure location outside. It is important to know that we will review this drill with students and will be keeping safety a priority during the drill. You may find it helpful to talk with your child prior to the drill. Some general talking points during emergency drills include:
- Reminding students that school is a safe place
- Staying calm is important
- Always follow your teacher's directions
If you have any questions, please call us, at 314-415-6100.
Please check out the form below with more information about the upcoming Fun Run here at Carman on Friday, Sept. 23rd, including information and web links to donate to the PTO.
As always, you can always find upcoming important dates and events at the end of the Paw Print.
With CT Pride,
Allison
