Life Stages
Stage 1 - Conception
Conception occurs at the very moment that the male's sperm and the female's egg fuse together creating an embryo.
Stage 2 - Birth
Birth is the next stage which takes place when the female carrying the baby goes into labor and gives birth.
Stage 3 - Infancy
Once we are born we enter infancy, during this stage a baby will learn and develop their fine motor skills such as gripping, sucking, putting things in their mouth and learning to move and control their fingers, arms and toes.
Stage 4 - Toddlers
From the age of about one till around four years old a baby becomes a toddler. During this stage the toddler will learn to develop their gross motor skills such as throwing, crawling, walking, running, jumping, eating solid foods and eating on their own and becoming toilet trained. During this stage they also learn how to talk.
Stage 5 - Childhood
At the age of five, a toddler becomes a child until around the age of twelve or thirteen. During this stage a child will attend nursery and primary school, learning to become more independent, learn how to socialize with other children and adults, and start to work on their intellectual development.
Stage 6 - Teenager
The teenager years carry on until the age of eighteen when they then enter adulthood. During these adolescent years, their hormones will start to kick in causing bodily changes, puberty and sexual curiosity. The female's hips will widen, she will grow breasts and start menstruating. The male's will start to grow more body hair, their voice will deepen and they start to become more muscular.
Stage 7 - Adulthood
Once past the age of eighteen, a teenage adolescent then enters adulthood, lasting right up until the final stage of death. During adulthood, the individual will then go through various certain life events such as death and bereavement, while choosing to go through other life events such as marriage, giving birth and parenthood, divorce, and job opportunities.
End of Life Stage and Frail Older Age
Also during older age, the Government attempt to ease the problems the elderly may face by providing them with the use of free services such as free bus passes, free medication prescriptions, free dental care and free eye tests and glasses.
