ST. MARY PHOENIX NEWS
March 08, 2019
Mrs. Marvin's Corner
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you to all of the many people who made Night in New York a success. Guests commented on how beautiful the gym was, the energy of the event and how much fun they had. We cannot wait for next year. It took many hands to make this event a success. We raised $24,000 to help support St. Mary School and Parish. We want to acknowledge our committee members: Alicia Holford, Nuris Acosta, Heather Henthorne, Shea Stitzlein, Kamni Arora, Michael Seifreid, Tina Grassman, Teresa Camacho-Elwood, Katherine Ritchie, Susan Bowling and Kyle Barnes who all had a vision for the evening and were able to turn that vision into a reality.
We also would like to thank: Village Catering, Bowman Beverage, Mohican Hills Golf Course, Susan Bowling, Bar-B-Q Buddha, SPOON, Flamingo Jack's, Coccia House, Miss Amy's Bakery, Morsel's and More, Jamie Durstine, The Green Leaf Restaurant for their delicious appetizers and desserts.
Your generous donations help fund many programs at St. Mary School including STEM and Wayne Center for the Arts plus many of the needs of the school including drinking faucets, flexible seating, carpeting, and the fine arts program.
Just a reminder, we are now in the Season of Lent and pizza will be on Friday's instead of Thursday's.

The St. Mary Story
Since 1865, people have known St. Mary School students by their actions. This is because throughout our history, we have focused on building student’s character, based on the values instilled by the Catholic Faith, and a foundation of academic excellence.
St. Mary School provides a welcoming environment where families have the freedom to celebrate the faith. In a world of need, responsibility matters and strength is needed to serve our communities. It is our mission to develop students who have the ability to be mentors and leaders in the world. We recognize that each student is a unique gift from God and we individualize instruction to help them reach their full potential. We strive to promote an atmosphere that encourages a love of learning and provides children with a foundation of faith to balance and guide them for the rest of their lives.
