Monthly News
Dear CCPS families,
Thank you for attending our annual Veterans Day program. The program was a perfect tribute to our Veterans and CCPS students enjoyed sharing their songs with our guests. CCPS students love to have their families come and enjoy the programs and events at school.
December will be a busy month at CCPS. This month, we will have our holiday luncheons, Polar Express Day and we will attend the movie, The Grinch! Please refer to your child’s classroom newsletter for specific times for your child’s classroom events.. We look forward to celebrating this special time of year with our students and our CCPS families.
Our PTO sold delicious Bundt cakes as a fund-raiser during the month of November. Thank you for supporting our school by purchasing these delicious cakes! We have a number of coats that are in the lost and found. Please put your child’s name on coats, jackets and water bottles.
It is hard to believe that we are in the middle of the school year. This year has literally flown by! I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas!
Sincerely,

First Graders are learning to code
First, learning programming empowers kids. Coding puts children in control of the computer and through experimentation builds mastery in sequencing skills, counting, problem solving, logical thinking, cause and effect, and critical thinking. Additionally, children can express themselves through code and find it cool to create games, apps, and websites and to even control robots." Source- eschool news
