Students in grades 9-12 and their families are invited. In addition to Park Hill School District students, this informational event is open to all surrounding districts. Not only will families be able to talk with representatives from numerous Historically Black Colleges and Universities, but there will also be a panel of HBCU alumni to educate attendees on the value of HBCUs and share their personal experiences. The evening is being hosted by our very own Park Hill High School Black Student Union. A bonus feature for the evening is a performance from our talented PHHS Step Team! PHHS FALL 2022 MID-TERM EXAM SCHEDULE

National PTA’s Reflections
National PTA’s Reflections program helps students explore their own thoughts, feelings, and ideas, develop artistic literacy, increase confidence, and find a love for learning that will help them become more successful in school and in life.
Each year, over 300,000 students create original works of art in response to a student-selected theme. The theme for the 2022-2023 program year is Show Your Voice! Students submit their completed works of art in one or all of the available arts categories: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, and Visual Arts. There is a Special Artists Division, too!
Winners from Park Hill High School will move on to Missouri PTA’s program. Winners at State continue on to the National level. National Reflections winners are announced in May and will be celebrated at National PTA's Convention TBD in June. National PTA then collects and curates the traveling exhibit for the next year.
If you have any questions, please contact PHHS PTA Reflections Chair Karyn Walden-Forrest at karyn.walden@yahoo.com. Submissions are accepted until Thursday, December 1, 2022.
The awards ceremony for our winners will be held in March in a location TBD.
