Dinosaur Museum

Mrs. Lange has posted some dino sites to use for research here:

Family members are invited to view our museum on Thursday, April 30 from 2:45-3:15. If this absolutely doesn't work for you, let me know. I can let you know the times on Friday that we will be having the museum.

We are putting together a poster in class to go along with our dinosaur. If your child wants to do anything extra, go for it.

If you have any questions, please ask! This is my first museum experience and I am not sure I am providing enough information to you.

We CAN Read!

We can read! And we are pretty darn good at reading!! And at school...we like to read. We enjoy reading to ourselves, to our friends, to volunteers and to anybody we can get to read with us. We like to talk about books with each other and share what we have read. Often times we when go to the library, there will be 3 or 4 of us who wait with a friend who has a book to check-in that we would like to check-out. That's reading, folks!

But what we really, really, really like is to have someone read to us. I can make 17 wiggly little bodies sit perfectly still just by reading aloud. The conversations we have before, during and after reading aloud are amazing.

I found an article that I think sums it up perfectly:

Spelling Words

Spelling words: pie, lie, tie, high, thigh, night, light, right, bright, sight,

Bonus words: enough, together, museum
