CALLING ALL CHROMEBOOK HOLDERS - YOU MUST CHECK IN YOUR DEVICE
CHROMEBOOK AUDIT IS THIS WEEK!
CHROMEBOOK AUDIT IS ALMOST COMPLETE!
Parents,
Thank you for helping us with our Chromebook Audit. We are close to our goal of 100%! If your student checked out a Chromebook during the 2020-2021 school year, please have them bring it to school on Monday, September 13th so it can be scanned into the system and students can continue to use their device for the remainder of this school year. Student Chromebooks that have not been verified by Monday, September 13th, will be deactivated until it is presented to campus staff. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Ms. Jewel Jefferson, jjeffers@springisd.org.
EVERY CHILD NEEDS A CHROMEBOOK PreK - 5th
PLEASE REQUEST A CHROMEBOOK HERE!
EVERY STUDENT NEEDS A CHROMEBOOK. IF YOU HAVE YOUR OWN DEVICE, NO NEED TO CHECK ONE OUT, BUT LET YOUR CHILD'S TEACHER KNOW A CHROMEBOOK IS NOT NEEDED!
COUNSELORS' CORNER
A Note from Mrs. Allen, our school counselor:
Hello Parents!
We have been learning about the character trait "Trustworthiness." One trait of being a trustworthy person is being honest and telling the truth even if one knows a consequence may be the end result.
Please take the time to enjoy "The Honest-to-Goodness Truth" by Patricia Mckissack, a story that explores how to tell the truth tactfully.
After the story, enjoy a quick discussion with your scholar and ask, "Why should we be honest with our family, friends, and teachers?"
You will be proud to know what your scholar has learned in the last few weeks about being trustworthy!
