Women's History Month - March 1- March 31

International Women’s Day is held on March 8th each year to celebrate women’s economic, political and cultural achievements.
The Library of Congress, National Gallery of Art, Smithsonian Institution, United States Holocaust Memorial Museum as well as other organizations join in commemorating the observance and celebration of the vital role of women in American history.
The month of March celebrates the contributions women have made throughout history in science, politics, law, sports, the arts, entertainment, and many other fields.
Women’s History Month is a dedicated month to reflect on the often-overlooked contributions of women to United States history.
