Scaring... we mean Sharing Scenes in GoGuardian
One of the reasons educators love GoGuardian Teacher is Scenes — the ability to provide thoughtful, customized guardrails for students exploring the internet on school-issued devices. We're excited to share that the Scenes feature is now even better! You can now share Scenes with other educators in your school or district. If you've taken the time to create a go-to Scene that your PLC, department, or co-teacher could benefit from, you can help them curate their digital classroom environment by sharing that Scene with them directly! That shared Scene can then be used as is or copied and modified to meet that educator's specific needs. If you've never created a Scene, now you can leverage a colleague's existing Scene as a starting point. Simply have them read this blog post for additional details.

More with Minecraft: Spotlight on the Three Colonial Regions
This month, FCPS Social Studies teacher Victoria Berger challenged her 5th-graders to showcase the three colonial regions; New England, Mid-Atlantic, and Southern colonies. Students chose a region, researched it, and built detailed models from their research inside Minecraft. After they finished creating their Minecraft world, they guided visitors through their virtual colonial region and recorded their journey with Screencastify. Their narration and details are impressive!
There were so many amazing projects created in Ms. Berger’s class and we love that she has shared two student examples below. Check them out!
