SummerBASH has something for EVERYONE, May 30 - July 25!


SIGN UP HERE to earn a chance to win Fabulous Prizes! Enjoy your summer and participate by READING and attending EVENTS.


How to Participate:

  • Read or Listen to 1 Book
  • Log your book on your online account
  • Visit the library to claim your Complimentary Prize & Entry
  • Look at the Fabulous Prizes on display at the Library and put your ENTRY in the prize you want a chance to win
  • Read More, earn more chances to win a Fabulous Prize


We will draw for the Fabulous Prizes at END OF SUMMERBASH on Saturday, July 25, at 3:00 pm. Make sure you have logged your books by Noon and have your entries in before 3:00 pm. Participants are eligible for 1 prize only.

Music in the Park

Saturday, May 30

6:00 pm @ West Gym, 5 S. Peoria Street


Bring your family, friends and lawn chairs for a FREE concert!


6:00 pm Mr. Stinky Feet, Kid Rocker, will start the evening with his award winning music for the whole family.


7:00 pm The Skip Hawkings Jazz Band, reminiscent of the Cole Porter and George Gershwin era, will continue the eveing with 2 hours of jazz.


Due to excessive rain we will use the Rain Location: West Gym, 5 S. Peoria Street

Literary Pub Trivia!

Saturday, June 6

6:30 pm @ Timbercreek Grill

Ages 17+ (21 to drink alcohol)


Fun and laughter ensues as teams compete in four rounds, of 10 questions each. Meet new people as you form teams at Timbercreek Grill. Mobile devices can be used to assist during three of the rounds. If you're feeling competitive examine the booklist. You don't need to read all of the books to have FUN!

Theater in the Park

It's the trial of the century and court is in session! Come join Cornerstone Performing Arts' theatrical production of Big Bad, the hilarious tale of the Big Bad Wolf and his legal woes. Yes, the same Big Bad Wolf who caused so much heartache for so many is now the subject of a class-action lawsuit by those he has wronged. As the Evil Stepmother and the Fairy Godmother duke it out in a court of law...YOU as our audience will serve as the jury. Mr. Wolf has made a pretty strong case for himself, but it's up to you to decide...is he worthy of forgiveness and a second chance or should he be condemned for his crimes? This fun and exciting production is filled with crowd participation and laughter and will keep you guessing until the very end!
