Tennessee Electronic Library (or TEL) and Google Apps for Education
The Tennessee Electronic Library (TEL) is helping teachers improve student engagement, encourage collaboration, and foster critical thinking by making it easy to find, save, and share trustworthy, relevant content. Students can easily share and download articles – including highlights and notes – using Google Drive. Educators can quickly create and send assignments and activities using the Google Classroom share button. To learn how to integrate TEL resources like Student Resources in Context or Opposing Viewpoints into your classroom experience, please see our Google Classroom and Google Drive tip sheets.

THREE THINGS ABOUT THE MAKER SPACE:
- Always send kids with signed agenda and a CLEAR understanding of how long they may stay.
- Know that the 3D printer is generally booked a week in advance. So kids that come to use the 3D printer without signing up, will have to wait until the next available time. I can only schedule 4 kids a day because of the time it takes to print something. Other activities in the Makerspace are available.
- Only 6 kids max can fit in the Makerspace so be prepared for me to send someone back if we are full. No more than 2 kids from a class at a time, unless I've sent your grade other instructions.
