A Note From Mrs. Donnell
As we wind down another week at CCS, I am asking myself - is it really the 21st of September? Our current weather is suggesting that it might be the end of July, but it looks like relief is on the way this weekend! Tuesday was picture day and our CCS group cleaned up pretty good for the camera. God was shining brightly on the faces of our students.
So many exciting things are happening at CCS. The staff and students are working hard to make this Christian educational journey a success. Satan is not happy with CCS at all. He knows the good we are doing, the fearlessness we are showing in Christ and he is hard at work. This can make things a little stressful, but as was brought to my attention by one of our wonderful staff members this week, “it is a good thing to have Satan knocking on our door, it means we are doing God’s work and Satan doesn’t like it”.
Keep up your hard work Crusaders - prayerfully and fearlessly lead and disciple others as God has called us to do.
Have a blessed weekend.
In Christ’s Love,
Mrs. Donnell

Topic: Temptation
Scripture: 1 Corinthians 10:13
No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.
Homemade "Temptation Swatter" to deal with temptation:
- Pray to God
- Read the Bible every day
- Talk to someone about your temptations and get help from them
God is big enough to help us in our temptations. Have God help you with your temptations.
